Aimee MacRae lives in the rolling countryside, of Southeast Queensland, with her firefighting husband, wee daughter, energetic pooch, rather large cat and two wonky rescue chickens. After many years working in galleries, and a short stint teaching very small humans, Aimee became a public librarian with a soft spot for quirky characters. When she’s not crafting her next novel, you can find her behind an art easel or knee deep in garden compost. Either way, she’ll be accompanied by a strong cup of earl grey and copious amounts of shortbread.
